We are incredibly proud to announce that Team PROPIX has secured 1st Place in the prestigious MAPID WebGIS Competition 2025. Under the theme 'Land Transformation for a Sustainable Future,' our team developed an innovative platform that transforms the property investment landscape by integrating WebGIS technology, artificial intelligence, and predictive analysis.
PROPIX is designed to solve complex challenges in the property market, such as information asymmetry and the lack of sustainability metrics. Our platform offers comprehensive features including interactive maps for price and demand projections, environmental risk analysis, and integration with detailed spatial planning data (RDTR/RTRW).
This achievement is the result of the hard work and synergy of our diverse team from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), consisting of Anggita Noviana Rizki (Project Leader), Anggito Muhammad A. (Backend), Adzka Bagus Juniarta (UI/UX), Buana Baruna Bayu (Spatial Analyst), and Hifnie Nazih Al Ghifari (Fullstack GIS). Despite facing significant challenges from data accessibility issues to balancing our academic responsibilities with personal commitments, we successfully delivered a solution that bridges the gap between technology and sustainable urban planning.
Moving forward, we hope PROPIX can drive a paradigm shift in Indonesia's property industry towards transparency and sustainability. By providing clear metrics on green development and long-term land transformation, we aim to support the realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and empower investors to make smarter, future proof decisions.
