The Sulawesi Gravity & Earthquake Dashboard is a specialized WebGIS platform developed to visualize complex geophysical data. Focused on the tectonically active region of Sulawesi, this project integrates both 2D mapping and 3D visualization to provide a comprehensive view of subsurface structures and seismic events.
The core feature of this dashboard is the mapping of Gravity Anomalies, which helps in understanding the variation in Earth's gravitational field caused by geological density differences. This data is crucial for interpreting fault lines and potential resource mapping.
Furthermore, the platform overlays historical Earthquake Data, including magnitude and depth, allowing users to correlate seismic activity with the mapped gravity anomalies. The inclusion of a 3D visualization mode enhances spatial understanding, making it easier to analyze the relationship between surface topography and subsurface geological features.
